MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN of expression, economic growth, and equal justice for all Entrepreneurism |
|
Entrepreneurism requires consistent laws equally applied and interpreted by fair judges. It is suffering today because leftist US politicians have thrown away all scruples in their mad grasping for total power, corrupting everything they touch. Messages are corrupted at the source. Justice depends upon political affiliation. Why is this important? Read on...
"Advances that
permit this norm to be exceeded - here and there, now and then - are
the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often
condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking
people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as
sometimes happens) is driven out of society, the people slip into
abject poverty. This is known as 'bad
luck'" Robert A Heinlein
Economies that facilitate Entrepreneureal creativity benefit enormously from their contributions. America has benefitted since it's earliest days from the pioneering spirit of people of every heritage and background flocking to its shores passionately pursuing their dreams. But 'bad luck' is threatening their abilities to continue to contribute as they have in the past - the lame excuse of leftist America hating politicians for why the economy falters and fails to achieve its growth potential because of excessive regulation, redistributive tax policies and deliberate harassment of the 1% who create far more wealth for American than they consume.
We are NOT beset by scarcity and inevitable economic decline. The climate is not an existential threat. On the contrary, a correct interpretation of history since the start of the Industrial Revolution shows monumental growth of Knowledge and Power from the creative minds of entrepreneurs that is accelerating at an ever increasing rate. How is this possible? Contrary to the catechism of traditional economic theory which can explain barely a fifth of the more than ten-thousand percent absolute increase in output since 1800 (taking into account only labor, capital and natural resources), when knowledge is included – there is no limit to growth. In fact, this more than one-hundred fold output increase in 200+ years may still understate the true increase by two orders of magnitude (explaining less than one percent).George Gilder's book Knowledge and Power
shows example after example of how the economic "science"
most in vogue today, in fact the version which has the eminent
practitioners such as Krugman, Posner, Summers and others capturing the
lion's share of policy maker mindshare, completely hand waves away the
entrepreneureal pillar of empirical economic progress. Stubbornly
clinging
to the cardinal truth of Keynesianism that "my income is someone else's
spending" entirely misses the essential contribution of every
entrepreneur who
creates something new that enhances all our lives.
Come on people, let's get back to common sense values, stop dividing
ourselves, and return to right living according to Biblical
principles. These have stood the test of time, are inspired by
our Creator and contain all the information needed for salvation.
